• It is where our self-talk is rooted.

Find a photo of yourself as a child. If you are unable to locate one, you can visualize yourself as a child and sketch it on a piece of paper. A stick figure will work! Look at this image and remember what it felt like when you were really young before you were conditioned to keep yourself safe.

Remember your innocence, laughter, and smile. Remember the brilliant essence of you.

If you can’t remember that specifically, dream of it… dream of seeing your smile, hearing your laughter, and the smells of love as you enter a building.

    Feel it.

Ideas to make this a tangible practice:

  • Click on the cards to the right to download and save them as a photo on your device of choice. First, check out the instructions here (this will simplify that process for you.)

  • As you enjoy your morning or afternoon walk, or while you're on the treadmill, take a moment to reflect on the above lesson. You can practice self-love without writing a single letter down.

  • Take a 5-minute breather after a stressful meeting and jot down what flows from this lesson. Keep this safe so you can return to it when sh** hits the fan, again.

  • Place the completed card or note in a spot where you'll find it in the future, like your desk drawer or journal. Revisiting it will remind you of your self-love commitment. You can also take a photo to keep on your phone or share it with our community for encouragement.

  • Remember to love yourself fiercely!
